Vivergo Fuels Limited is a joint venture, created to construct and develop a worldscale bioethanol plant at Saltend in Hull.
Established in 2007, Vivergo Fuels brought together the complementary skills of three leading companies:
BP’s fuels technology expertise and access to major fuel markets
British Sugar’s experience in the agricultural value chain, links to feedstock supply and co-product expertise
DuPont’s biotechnology and bio-manufacturing capabilities.
With this heritage, Vivergo is ideally placed to become the UK’s leading supplier of renewable fuels which meet recognised sustainability standards.
