Vivergo Fuels

our community

Vivergo Fuels is committed to working with the local community. Over £130,000 has been raised and donated so far in support of a range of charities and good causes in our area. Dove House Hospice, Hull & East Riding Institute for the Blind (HERIB), Withernsea Community Hospital and Help for Heroes are just a few examples of great organisations that have received our support.

Vivergo's team has also identified a number of key local charities who have received a longer term programme of ongoing fundraising and wider support:

The Vivergo Team is proud to have raised £20,000 to fund a custom-built carvan for the Echoes Foundation, which will be available for use by families caring for children with special and additional needs.

KIDS works for disabled children and their families in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire .

Vivergo has worked closely with KIDS and has raised over £26,000 to support the development of a new conservatory, accessible toilet area and landscaped garden at the charity's regional base in Hull.

If you would like to learn more about this organisation you can visit their website www.kids.org.uk or alternatively to get involved with fundraising and really make a difference contact Janice Hopkins, Regional Fundraiser, on 01482 467540.

The HEYwoods Initiative aims to increase tree and woodland cover and to improve the management of existing trees, woods and associated habitats in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Vivergo has been working with the HEYwoods Initiative and tree plating projects have taken place at Stockwell, Sidmouth and Longhill Primary Schools as well as at Paull Cemetery. Further tree plating is planned for other areas including Hedon.

The main benefit of this is getting the children and local community involved and feeling proud about the natural environment they are creating. If you would like to know more about the work that the HEYwoods Initiative gets involved with, please contact Stephen Robinson, (01482) 393726 or info@heywoods.org.uk, or visit their website at www.heywoods.org.uk
